Free SharePoint quick links web part
Zen Quick Links turns a simple SharePoint list into a polished set of icon links. Choose from four layouts and let editors manage the links without touching the page.
What Zen Quick Links does
Four layouts
Show links as a scrolling filmstrip, a honeycomb, circles or squares.
List-driven
Links live in a SharePoint list, so editors can add and reorder them at any time.
Images or icons
Each link uses an attached image, an image URL or a Fluent UI icon, in that order.
Adjustable tiles
Set the tile size, how many links the filmstrip shows at once, and whether titles appear.
Clean or framed
Show just the icon, or add a ring, background and shadow to each tile.
Reusable anywhere
Point it at any list to reuse it across sites and pages.

Questions
Which icons can I use?
Upload an image as an attachment, link to an image URL, or type the name of any Fluent UI icon. The web part uses the first one it finds in that order.
How is this different from the built-in Quick links web part?
Links are managed in a list rather than on each page, so they can be reused and updated in one place. It also offers honeycomb and circle layouts that the built-in web part does not.
Is this web part really free?
Yes. Zen Digital Systems provides Zen Quick Links free of charge to download and use in your organisation's SharePoint Online tenant.
Does it work with SharePoint Server on-premises?
It is built for SharePoint Online in Microsoft 365. If you need a version for SharePoint Server Subscription Edition, contact us and we can discuss it.
Can you customise it for our intranet?
Yes. We can adapt the design, add fields or build a fully custom version as part of our SPFx development service.
